Austin Area 4th of July Event Guide

Independence Day is nearly here.  Still trying to figure out your Central Texas 4th of July Plans?  Whether you want to get your fireworks on, see some live music or soak in the lake, Austin and the surrounding hill country offer it all.

Are you looking for some do-it-yourself pyrotechnics?  Fire professionals remind you to use extreme caution in these dry conditions.  Travis County is currently under a burn ban, but it does not affect the use of fireworks.   There is, as always, a total ban on personal use of fireworks in Austin and San Marcos.
